What the evening shift knew, the morning shift does not.

At the end of the shift the handover is spoken or scribbled in a notebook, and part of it does not arrive. The automation turns a spoken message into a handover with open items; the next shift leader confirms and picks them up.

ReleasedReleased?

In doubt? To your team first.

The evening shift reports a fault on machine 3, not whether it was released. Your shift leader decides.

Sound familiar?

  • Said, but not received

The handover is a short chat or message, and whatever is not said in it does not arrive.

  • Calling a colleague at home

Someone calls a colleague at home to ask whether machine 3 was released.

Today. And with AIstap.

  • Less asking the previous shift
  • A better view of handovers

Possible impact, not a promise: what it brings depends on your process.

What AIstap can build.

An example. What we build for you is agreed upfront.

  • Speech into items

What was spoken, sorted per line or order.

The spoken message is written out and sorted per line or order.

  • Check for gaps

Release unclear? Then your shift leader sees it first.

A check for gaps: if something is missing, your shift leader sees it first.

  • A name per item

Open items get someone from the next shift.

Open items get a suggested name from the next shift; your shift leader confirms.

  • Reminder to your team

As long as the handover is unconfirmed.

A reminder to your team for as long as the handover is not confirmed.

Checked by your team.

The automation prepares. Your people approve and decide when something is unclear.

    Machine 3Released?

    Is machine 3 released?

In doubt, your shift leader decides

If something is missing, such as a machine's release after a fault, your shift leader sees it first. The automation does not guess.

    Your team

    • Releasing machines
    • Leading the shift
    • Closing items

Running the shift stays with people

Releasing a machine and closing an item is done by your shift leader. In this set-up the automation does not do that.

  • Your shift leader closes items

In this set-up the automation does not close any item. An open item is only closed when the next shift leader does it.

Questions about this use case.

Our shift leaders do not like typing. Does this work?

That is why it is designed around speaking: a short message at the end of the shift. Whether it can be understood well on your shop floor is tested in the pilot.

Does this replace the talk at the changeover?

No. The talk stays. The handover records what is open, so it also reaches whoever was not standing there.

What happens if nobody confirms the handover?

Then the handover stays open and your team gets a reminder. The automation does not close items itself.
